DO YOU HEAR THE SUSTAIN? - O.C.E. Pedals Hardware Series: Hammer Fuzz
#pinkfloyd #fuzzpedal #stratocaster
Chris at @o.c.e.pedals dropped this tweaked 4 transistor fuzz a little bit ago and it sounds HUGE. This pedal is inspired by some of his favorite sounds from the Muff style circuits, which can range from borderline distortion all the way to infinite sustain. It sits really well in a band setting and if works fantastic for a killer lead fuzz tone. It'll do Corgan, Gilmore and Dino Jr just by tweaking the tone knob. Another installment of the O.C.E. Hardware Series with the Hammer Key chain attached to the enclosure, all through-hole components, top mounted jacks, embossed labels. These pedals not only sound great, but they look cool AF.
For the knob turning I'm using my Danocaster Double Cut into the Z-Lux. A little El Cap when it felt right.

Do YOU Prefer British or American? - Dr. Z X-RAY vs. Z-Lux MKII
Переглядів 51821 день тому
#stratocaster #telecaster #lespaul One of the questions I've gotten the most is how the new X-RAY compares to the Z-Lux. So I did this short comparison where I set the settings to about how I'd use them for most guitars, with similar bass response and then just played a few common guitars through them back to back. There are tons of variables here like speaker, tubes and the fact that they are ...

The new Green mode (V2) adds a three band EQ that gives this thing a tone of flexibility. V1 mode bypasses the EQ in lieu of...

    I’m in the process of putting RS kits in all my guitars. So much more clarity, feels more responsive under the fingers, I have multiple guitars. I had a RS kit in two of my guitars and I kept reaching for the two guitars with RS kits in them. That’s when I decided to get kits for the rest of them.

    You should have stopped playing after the first few notes cause you should have realised you've plugged in electronically uncompatable components. You've lost all your famous Les Paul sounds and replaced them with tube like sounds and tones where there shouldn't be any tones. It should just sound like cracking, crunchy, voltage ⚡️ sounds. Which create BASS MIDS AND TREBLES sounds that you can use. So basically you foolishly thought a modern Les Paul is designed for any era Marshall, but they're not. As you should have found out when you plugged in and tried to use it. Your tones are all over the place and that's the sound of mismatched electronical signals. Then you really confused your amplifier by plugging in a tube screamer variant. Ibanez has an electrically exclusive signal just like fender does. They were forced into making their own pedal which electrically works with their exclusive signal. At this point 👉 you may as well just go fishing 🎣 instead of struggling with your setup.

  • @Gma7788
    @Gma7788 18 днів тому

    That's NOT wah. This is what they call a tone control sweep or a volume sweep. To be considered wah it must have the voltage ⚡️ boost hump somewhere in the middle of the sweep. On either ends of the sweep the voltage ⚡️ boost must disappear. They explained it all to you on a graph 📊 You don't have any boosting going on. You just have a tone sweep or a volume change type of sound. You've mixed so many high impedance and low impedance circuits, you don't know where you are. To people who understand wah, your sound is terrible.

    I've watched many comparison videos between Celestion and WGS and after this one I came to the realization there shouldn't be competition between the two. In a 2x12 cab loaded with one G12H and one Reaper the tone is full, rich and robust, plus it cuts through the mix. Long/Short when used together both brands compliment each other beautifully.

    Listening on studio monitors, the 59 and BB neck are almost identical sounding with the BB having a bit more bottom end bloom, and both bridges were pretty close as well, both a little hotter to push the amp just a tad, however the bridges did have a noticeable EQ difference with the BB a bit more twang. They both had openness, clarity, string definition and push. To those who complain the Gibbys are muddy, I think that's more a product of Gibson's stock wiring harness/pot values.
